Your donation can change lives.

Donate

We are a state and federally funded agency providing services and advocacy to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) registered charity, our funding provides all of the many services listed here on our website, but we would love to do more. Your donation will help us expand our programs beyond the scope of state and federal funding allowances for educational, therapy, and quality of life improvements.

Upon submitting a donation, please specify which program you would like to donate to.

After School Program

For children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This grant-operated program shares a physical location with one of our Day Habilitation Programs, allowing it only to operate from 2:30-7:00pm Monday through Friday. Your donation will help us fund a permanent location for this program, allowing it to operate full days, weekends, and special events. This allows families who rely on the After-School Program as childcare to better utilize this program. Donations will also be used to purchase art supplies, fund day trips, and birthday celebrations.

Day Habilitation Program

Two of our programs are “Without Walls”, meaning the program occurs in the community and there is no physical building. We would like to expand this program to allow these individuals to attend plays, sporting events, trips to the theatre, and concerts. We would also like to update our educational materials.

Community Inclusion

Activities such as dinner at a restaurant or bowling trip and beyond. Your donation will help fund trips for individuals and allow for new, enriching experiences that couldn’t otherwise be afforded. We want to incorporate new, innovative treatment options such as Art and Music Therapy, as well as promotion of health and wellness. Your support helps expand our options, and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve.

People Embracing People (PEP)

PEP places an intellectually/developmentally disabled individual with a family in the community, many staying for over 10 years with the same family. As this population of individuals ages, we are encountering instances where the individual has to be removed from the family’s home because the home is not accessible for their needs as they age. Your donation will help provide adaptive equipment to keep the individual in the least restrictive setting as possible, with a family they’ve lived with for years.
